Soap making will be taught with hands on instruction as you work through the soap making process. Safety of working with lye, and some knowledge regarding various oils used in soaps will also be included. Students will leave class with a 3# bucket of soap, still curing, not to be used for a minimum of three weeks, and new knowledge!
Lynette is a self taught soap maker. First intrigued by the novelty of making one’s own soap, she began reading and researching, making her first batch 15 years ago. As time went on she began deepening her knowledge of various oils, continuously working to improve her product. Presently, Lynette sells soap in various stores and at art and craft shows.
