Find yourself sitting and watching while others are tearing up the dance floor? This class is for you! It will be an introduction to basic swing dancing. If you have taken our past swing dancing classes with Marge: 1.You know how much fun we have. & 2.We will be reviewing what we have learned in the past and ALSO building on those skills. The goal is to get everyone comfortable with getting out on a dance floor anywhere, anytime and having fun doing so. On March 20th we will have the chance to practice our skills with a live band playing just for us. We will be welcoming Merchants of Groove.
Marge Dobie’s partner dance experience goes back decades. She studied, performed and competed in ballroom dancing and has enjoyed other forms of social dancing for many years, especially Argentine tango. This year Marge will be offering beginner country swing dance lessons. Hope to see the former Argentine tango enthusiasts and East Coast Swing aficionados from pervious Cabin Fever Classes back out on the dance floor!
