Find yourself sitting and watching while others kicking up their boots? This class is for you! It will be an introduction to basic country swing dancing to your favorite country music. Merchants of Groove will join us Sunday March 10th playing their favorite country songs. Students will be offered basic steps to Country Swing and with fun partner interaction and turns. The goal is to get everyone comfortable with getting out on a dance floor anywhere anytime.
Marge Dobie’s partner dance experience goes back decades. She studied, performed and competed in ballroom dancing and has enjoyed other forms of social dancing for many years, especially Argentine tango. This year Marge will be offering beginner country swing dance lessons. Hope to see the former Argentine tango enthusiasts and East Coast Swing aficionados from pervious Cabin Fever Classes back out on the dance floor!
