💀 Calavera Creations: Día de los Muertos Craft Workshop
Instructor: Alison Sherwood
CUB McCall 114 N Third St.
Wednesday, October 21 | 6-7:30
For Ages 9-99 (under 12 must be accompanied by an adult) 🎃
Step into the spirit of the season by creating your very own calavera (Spanish for “skull” and often used to describe decorated skeleton figures associated with Día de los Muertos). In this hands-on workshop, we’ll transform simple 6” skeletons into vibrant Día de los Muertos–inspired artworks using fabric scraps, acrylic paints, glitter, beads, floral accents, and more.
Alison Sherwood will guide you step-by-step while encouraging your own unique flair. You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind decorated skeleton — perfect for display during Halloween or Day of the Dead celebrations.
Supplies are provided, but feel free to bring any special materials you’d love to incorporate.
