Join us for a lively evening of traditional barn dancing! Participants will learn 4–6 fun and easy-to-follow social folk dances such as the Heel Toe Polka, Virginia Reel, and Cumberland Squares. These energetic large-group dances are perfect for all ages and no previous dance experience is needed—just bring comfortable shoes, reasonable balance and mobility, and a willingness to laugh, move, and have fun together!
Instructor Bio
Sarah Swann has loved partner dancing since her teenage years, competing on a college ballroom dance team and continuing through years of college courses, community groups, and self-directed learning across a variety of styles. She has taught casual dance classes and is excited to share the fun and community that social dancing brings.
