Join us Saturday, Sept. 19th at 4:30 PM on the terrace behind Hotel McCall (where the wood stage is!) for a very special outdoor edition of McCall’s favorite storytelling program inspired by Juneau’s popular and delightful Mudrooms. Tickets: $7/each.*
How it works: Seven storytellers will regale the audience with a true personal tale for exactly seven minutes. September's theme is "Laughter in Lockdown." Storytellers will share their best stories about coping through quarantine. Seven tales. Seven minutes. Seven dollars!
From silly to sweet, told by wallflowers or clowns, live stories are mesmerizing and raw. This is not a theatrical performance, but real-life storytelling shared by friends, neighbors, visitors, and strangers. Bring your own chair/blanket, and some snacks, and join us for an unpredictable and enjoyable afternoon of old-fashioned storytelling fun!
Register here to reserve your ticket [your email confirmation will be your ticket, and we'll have record of it, so no need to print or bring any paper with you to the event].
CALL FOR STORYTELLERS: If you'd prefer to be on stage vs. watching from the audience, please apply to be a storyteller via this link!
*Ticket sales help cover the cost of putting on the event; any and all proceeds will support the McCall Arts and Humanities Council, a local 501(c)3 nonprofit working diligently to provide affordable and consistent access to arts and humanities programming for everyone in Valley & Adams Counties.
