Everyone wants the best care possible for the people they love. This is especially true as loved ones enter the medical system. Doctors, nurses, technicians, hospitals, family, and friends ALL want the best possible outcome for the patient, but how can we best-facilitate communication and cooperation during stressful times of hospitalization or long-term illness? In this presentation, Kathy Belknap will help family and friends learn how to navigate the health care system when a health crisis occurs. Even during times of intense emotion, the complexities of the health care system need not overwhelm you. Getting the best care for the person you love requires being informed and working as a partner with health care professionals. Instructor Kathy Belknap holds an MA in Counseling Psychology and has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share on this important topic. Registration Required
