This dynamic and creative workshop will explore the many applications of photography in the marketplace. Visual marketing is a valuable skill to apply to almost every profession, service, organization, or product. Whether you’re marketing your own work as a photographer, or you work in a profession that requires high-quality photographs to sell your product, this class will address how to use visual marketing to achieve your goals. Experienced photographer Pam Benham will lead students through various social media platforms - including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn - as well as website designs. Pam will assist students in defining goals, creating visual and verbal content, and using marketing to tell their unique stories. Personalized photography assignments, in conjunction with working on Adobe Creative platforms, will allow students to create their own templates and layouts. Each student will leave with a unique visual marketing campaign, and the skills necessary to begin implementation. This fun, creative, and exploratory workshop will help you start 2020 inspired to “shine like the whole world is yours.” Instructor Pam Benham works as a professional location photographer throughout the West for a wide array of corporate, editorial, and advertising accounts. Pam has taught at Boise State University, the College of Southern Idaho, and most recently has designed, launched, and taught the College of Western Idaho’s first photography classes.
