Go into summer prepared to capitalize on all of Idaho’s luscious fruits! In just two hours, food preservation maestro Anjel Griggs will teach students how to SAFELY AND PROPERLY home-can jellies and jams. Anjel will cover the basics of home-canning as well as information on different pectin sources, low-sugar alternatives, and pectin-free jellies. Various prepared jellies and jams will be sampled in class on various breads, and students will also take home a few jars of their own preparations.  This is a hands-on class so participants should come prepared with an apron or wear older clothes in which to cook.  $42  Registration Required
