Join Clinical Ayurvedic Practitioner, Jean Keese, as she brings the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda to life and offers practical and modern tips to optimize your health. Ayurveda (literally translated as “knowledge of life”) is a holistic healing system from India that dates back 5000 years to ancient Sanskrit texts, the Vedas. In Ayurveda, human physiology is governed by three main forces called doshas. Each individual has a unique balance of these doshas, with one dosha typically predominating. Disease is created when we live out of balance, which is reflected in dosha imbalance. Health is obtained when we keep our own unique mind/body constitution in rhythm with our nature, working to balance our doshas. With an understanding of your own dosha type, you will have knowledge and tools to rejuvenate and balance your health so you can thrive! Instructor Jean Keese is a graduate of the California College of Ayurveda, and a professional member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association. She has an Ayurvedic Counseling and Holistic Wellness practice in Donnelly. A seasonal tea will be provided.  Registration Required
